Overview

Assists radiologists in UTZ procedures. Performs x-rays for diagnostic purposes. Follows established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety. Files FDA license for the x-ray facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations (x-ray and mammogram) while adhering to radiology protocols
• Assist radiologists in UTZ procedures
• Provide patients with radiation protection equipment and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
• Ensure imaging equipment is in optimum operating order and inform the appropriate person when repairs are needed
• Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely
• Record/encode all patient information and results (x-ray and UTZ) in radiology information systems

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist
• At least one year of experience as a radiologic technologist
