Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
+ Crew Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor drill operators, locators, and laborers. Coordinate daily workflow and assign tasks to maximize productivity.
+ Job Planning & Setup: Review bore plans, project layouts, and utility maps. Ensure all underground utilities are properly located, exposed (potholed), and accounted for before drilling commences.
+ Equipment Operation: Safely operate HDD rigs, mud mixing systems, vacuum trucks, and locating equipment (e.g., DCI, Subsite, Falcon F5).
+ Safety & Compliance: Conduct daily jobsite safety meetings. Enforce strict compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental policies, and company safety protocols.
+ Quality Control & Documentation: Maintain bore path accuracy, proper drilling fluid management, and pullback procedures. Track daily production, verify as-built data, and submit bore logs.
