Hardware & Test Engineering Co-op – High-speed I/O Connectors (AI/ML)

Position Overview

Amphenol is seeking a hands-on Engineering Co-op student to support laboratory testing, hardware setup design, and fixture development for front‑end I/O connectors used in next‑generation AI and Machine Learning (ML) platforms.

This role focuses on practical engineering in a lab environment, including building and validating test setups, supporting high‑speed measurements, and developing custom fixtures for reliable and repeatable testing.

Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Testing & Validation

• Execute electrical, mechanical, thermal and environmental testing of high-speed connector systems.
• Operate lab equipment such as VNAs, oscilloscopes, TDR systems, and thermal equipment.
• Collect and analyze test data to evaluate performance.
