The Certified Hand Occupational Therapist performs evaluation/re-evaluation, develops a plan of care, provides evidence-based treatment, assesses data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interprets information relative to the patient's needs. Combines comprehensive knowledge of the structure, function and activity of the upper limb in order to specialize in the treatment and rehabilitation of the upper extremity (hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder girdle).
