Position Summary
The Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon provides comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for patients with conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. This role includes evaluation, diagnosis, operative management, and rehabilitation planning for traumatic, degenerative, congenital, and overuse conditions, delivered through evidence-based, patient-centered orthopedic care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage conditions of the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, and shoulder, including trauma, arthritis, nerve compression, tendon disorders, and congenital abnormalities
- Perform surgical procedures consistent with fellowship training and privileges, including hand and upper extremity reconstruction, fracture fixation, nerve and tendon repair, and elective procedures
