Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to The High Desert Inn-Lodging Facility on Edwards AFB, Ca. This is a Regular Full Time (RFT) position with benefits (medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, 401(k), and annual/sick leave. Responsibilities Responsible for the efficient and economical operation of the Lodging Guest Reception, which include both reservations and front desk operations. Accepts request from reservations-group and individual, according to space availability. Orders and issues non availability numbers when adequate quarters are not available and assigns eligible TDY travelers to commercial contracts quarters. Registers and assigns rooms to guests, issues room keys, and may escort guest to rooms when called for. Calculates and posts charges to patron's accounts and balances totals with control records.
