The Sales Manager is a quota-driven role within the hotelβs Sales department, responsible for managing assigned accounts and driving revenue performance. This position requires an experienced sales professional with 2β4 years in the hospitality industry. The Sales Manager functions in a client-facing capacity, acting as the primary point of contact for account management and contributing directly to overall account performance.
This position primarily manages group accounts with 151 or more peak room nights, with or without associated events. Key responsibilities include developing new business through proactive prospecting using Hyatt systems and external resources, executing regular sales calls and strategic sales initiatives, and maintaining strong client relationships.
