Maintain the lawns by mowing, watering, performing weed control and planting flowers and seed.
Remove litter and collecting refuse for disposal.
Plant, prune and maintain trees and shrubs.
Remove snow and ice from driving and pedestrian areas.
Replace/post outdoor signs.
Report observed problems to appropriate departments for treatment/repair.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Prospective new hires will successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check with fingerprinting. The background check review includes, but is not limited to, exclusionary offenses per the Illinois School Code and Title IV of the Higher Education Act.
Frequent operation of lawn equipment, tools and machinery.
