Position Overview
Job Summary:
An employee in this classification performs work of routine difficulty performing grounds maintenance, landscaping and snow removal. Work is distinguished by the ability to operate college vehicles that require a CDL license. General supervision is received from the assigned manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum of 2 years experience in snow removal, grounds and parking lot maintence or equivalent combination of training and experience.Must posess and maintain a valid Illinois Commercial Drivers License with Air Brake endorsement.Pre-employment DOT drug panel test required, with the ability to maintain compliance.Good knowledge of routine vehicle and grounds equipment preventive maintenance.Good knowledge of lawn, tree, and plant care and the ability to select the proper trees, shrubs, and plants to be used in var...
