Grounds Maintenance Worker

The Grounds Maintenance Worker, reporting to the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, assists in the daily maintenance, cleanup and preparations of the venue for events. Starting pay is commensurate with work experience.

Position Elements:

• Help prepare site for opening
• Assist in the process of changing out the marquee
• Sweep, blow and hose down entire grounds, including theatre area
• Planting of new plants and plant care for existing landscaping
• Cut grass, trim trees and assist tree crew with larger projects
• Setup tables, tents, canopies and other items as needed
• Keep accurate time records and abide by the meal and rest break policy
• Assist other departments when necessary and as directed by a supervisor (such as: closing gates, unloading trucks, etc.)
