Job Description Job DescriptionA prestigious Canton company is looking for an experienced knife assembler/ knife grinder.
This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate!
Duties/ Responsibilities:
1.Grinds or sands sharp edges and burrs from parts.
2.Operates stroke, belt and orbital sanders along with pneumatic grinders.
3.Works to close limits according to blueprints or other specifications.
4.Responsible for pre-coating and/or final finish.
5.Locate, drill, countersink, tap, spot face, counterbore, and ream holes per blueprints.
6.Locate and weld studs per prints.
7.Grind weld and prep parts for paint.
8.Grain stainless for required finish.
9.Assist all departments as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Mobility requirements include standing, walking, reaching and bending
Pay is $16-$17 depending on experience.
