About the role

DNV’s Wind & Solar Technology Testing Team delivers high-quality analysis to ensure that wind turbines, solar plants, hydroelectric and other conventional power plants perform to expectations. We are engineers, scientists and business experts dedicated to the success of the energy industry. We verify through measurements, simulations and certification processes that power plants will produce energy in line with expectations and have a useful lifetime consistent with their design.

The Grid Code Compliance team consists of electrical engineers who are dealing with the verification of Grid Code Compliance performance of power plants, from early stages to final certification. The team handles simulations, testing and assessment on behavior in events such as “Fault Ride through (FRT)”- tests, harmonics, flicker, reactive and active power control, and some others around the globe with emphasis in the home region in Spain.
