Position Summary:

Under supervision of Registered Nurse, assist physician with duties necessary to support the needs of the practice working within and to the maximum scope of license.
Education, License & Cert:

Must be a graduate of a licensed practical nursing program.

Must possess a current temporary practice permit (PA) or limited permit (NY) based on the state of practice.

BLS Certification

High School Grad or Equivalent
Experience:

Previous experience in healthcare preferred but not required
Essential Functions:

+ Directs patient to exam room and prepares patient for exam or treatment by identifying height, weight, respirations, blood pressure, temperature, additional testing, and records same on chart. Will also interview patient to obtain history allergies, reconciles medication list and records on chart as requested.
