The Position

This role provides the successful candidate with extensive experience in all aspects of grid engineering as it is applied to zero carbon energy projects, from inception to energisation. The Graduate Grid Engineer will be based on a hybrid basis at one of our offices: Gateshead, Kings Langley, Glasgow or Larne.

Responsibilities

• Conduct grid feasibility assessments of new development projects.
• Analyse and present network data sets for project teams to support decision‑making.
• Prepare cost estimates for project substation and interconnection.
• Manage grid connection liabilities and advise on liability risk.
• Prepare technical appendices of Grid Applications, including Single Line Diagrams and fault calculations.
