**Job Description:**

**Graduate Assistant for Sports Performance**

**DEPARTMENT:** Athletics

**BASIC FUNCTION:** Responsible for the usual and customary duties associated with assisting in the Strength and Conditioning of NCAA Division I Athletic Programs; responsible for knowledge and skills entailed in the sport being represented.

**UNUSUAL WORK CONDITIONS:** Non-traditional work hours; possible extensive travel involved; potential exposure to blood borne pathogens.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL NEEDED:**

**EDUCATION:** Bachelor’s degree required

**EXPERIENCE:** Related coaching experience preferred

**REPORTS TO:** Associate Athletic Director of Sports Performance
