The Governors of Newport High School are seeking to appoint a Grade 5 Teaching Assistant for one year, on a fixed term contract from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027, term time only.
We are seeking to appoint a talented, passionate and highly motivated Teaching Assistant.
Job Purpose:
• To work usually in the classroom under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff.
• To support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils in the classroom.
