**Government Audit Recovery Specialist**

**Location:** Costa Mesa
**Pay Range:** $25.00 – $34.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Government Audit Recovery Specialist to support audit and compliance activities related to Medicare and government healthcare programs within an acute care environment. This role is responsible for managing audit requests, preparing documentation, and coordinating responses to various government agencies and regulatory bodies.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Manage and respond to government audit requests, including RAC, MAC, TPE, CERT, OIG, QIO, Medicaid, and Medi-Cal audits
+ Review and prepare documentation for billing compliance and audit submissions
+ Process incoming audit correspondence and maintain accurate records and tracking
+ Coordinate with internal departments to obtain required medical and billing documentation
