INTEGRAL MEDICAL SAFETY EXPERT - BIOSIMILARS

Overview

This position works out of our Bogota location in the Established Pharmaceuticals division. It focuses on bringing trusted medicines to populations in high-growth markets, with a portfolio that includes gastroenterology, women’s health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory therapies.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a Global Point of Contact for Biosimilars
• Represents Abbott in interactions with governmental agencies and competent authorities on pharmacovigilance matters
• Develops strategic risk management plans for assigned products and ensures appropriate content, communication, affiliate readiness, and tracking of required risk‑minimization measures
• Reviews clinical study protocols, safety review plans, clinical study reports, and scientific data to support pharmacovigilance activities
