Position Description

The Corporate Finance General Accounting Senior Accountant ensures the accuracy and integrity of the Company's books of accounts. Ensures accurate and timely analyses of accounts, schedules/reports, reconciliations and financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and in compliance with the financial policies. The Senior General Accountant handles the monthly close process in a timely manner, adheres to strict reporting deadlines for pre-close and close as published in the Financial Closing Calendar and the SLA and performs a balance sheet review which includes resolving outstanding issues, reviewing bank accounts, accruals, prepaid, fixed assets, intercompany activity, accounts payable and deferred income/expense. Performs interface activities for fixed assets, accounts receivable, billing and payroll and resolves day to day issues related to the general ledger.
