Position Overview
As a GL Accountant your responsibilities are:
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc financial analyses.
- Contribute to process improvements within the accounting function.
A successful GL Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in general ledger accounting, preferably within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
