Job Description

Undertake both regional geological field work and core logging within the Exploration and Geology team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist with regional field programmes including geological outcrop mapping, soil sampling, and geophysics.
• Undertake logging of exploration and grade control drill core in a timely and accurate manner.
• Supervision of core shed and regional field technicians during the sampling process, including sample preparation and the maintenance and monitoring of correct sampling protocols.
• Analysis and reporting of assay quality control data and sample turnaround time.
• Provide accurate and complete geological data including core logging, assay, outcrop mapping, geophysics, soil sampling, and teraspec analysis required to enable the generation of geological models, presentations and reports.
