**Job Description :**

**GENERAL OVERVIEW:**

Performs basic clinical and administrative functions to support genetic counseling and risk assessment for individuals at risk.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Creates and updates patient pedigrees in risk assessment software. (20%)
+ Assists genetics counselors in communication of normal test results to patients and physicians. (20%)
+ Administers patient intake forms and completes family histories. (20%)
+ Retrieves patient MR, scans EHR, performs maintenance on genetic counseling data. (20%)
+ Assists with the creation of patient education, lecture and seminar materials. (10%)
+ Assists in clinical investigations by performing literature searches. (5%)
+ Performs other duties assigned. (5%)

**QUALIFICATIONS:**
