**General Summary**

We are looking for a reliable, skilled generator mechanic to run and maintain standby generators and perform essential upkeep tasks throughout the facility. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of activities, such as repairs and the operation of generators. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will have significant work experience and solid technical knowledge.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Able to troubleshoot, service, maintain, and repair all makes of standby generators.
+ Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all components of the generator, engine, and switchgear.
+ Conduct start-up, preventive maintenance, and service of standby generators.
+ Work on common standby generator brands such as Cummins, Caterpillar, Kohler, Generac, Briggs & Stratton.
