General surgery involves surgeries of the abdominal organs, skin, and soft tissues. Some
surgeries are:
● Appendectomy (removal of the appendix)
● Gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy) (for gallstones or other conditions)
● Hernia repair (inguinal, umbilical, etc.)
● Laparoscopic surgery (minimally invasive surgery for various conditions)
