Role: Breast Fellow (Waikato Hospital)

Fixed Term – one year. Fellow (Post Fellowship Training accredited). You will work at Senior Registrar level within the General Surgery Department, specializing in breast surgery with opportunities in endocrine surgery.

About the Role

This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone who wants further advanced experience in breast surgery and, if desired, endocrine surgery. You will work with a team of six subspecialized breast and breast/endocrine surgeons, gaining exposure to oncoplastic techniques, involvement with the Te Manawa Taki Breast Cancer Screening Programme, clinical trials work, and basic/advanced endocrine techniques such as laparoscopic adrenalectomy and minimally invasive parathyroidectomy.
