Central Maine Healthcare is looking for a General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join its Surgery team!

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Qualifications

• MSN with specialization as an APRN or MSPAS
• Current state license as an Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• BLS upon hire and maintain current
• Two years of experience as an APP
• Previous experience with electronic health record.
