POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse/Shipping Supervisor provides leadership and direction to ensure the effective management of people, processes, and utilization of resources. Responsible for inventory management of all products and for overseeing operations of the warehouse and shipping processes. Acts additionally as primary coverage/backup for Shift Supervision, Scheduling, and Safety as needed. Manages, mentors, and develops associates in a cohesive can-do team atmosphere. Ensures that our customers receive our product on time every time and always in world class condition.

MAJOR TASKS:


+ Supervise Warehouse/Shipping employees and oversee daily operations.

+ Responsible for the performance of general maintenance of machinery used in the warehouse.

+ Communicates with drivers to ensure efficient transfer of products in and out of the warehouse to truck and/or rail.

+ Manage workflow within Shipping and Receiving Departments.
