Job Purpose



To oversee and manage all mining and plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable production. The role integrates mining activities and processing plant operations, ensuring optimal resource extraction, processing efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.



Key Responsibilities



1. Operational Management



Oversee end-to-end mining operations (open pit / underground as applicable)

Manage processing plant operations (crushing, screening, washing, beneficiation, etc.)

Ensure production targets (tonnage, grade, recovery rates) are met

Optimise plant performance and throughput

Implement continuous improvement strategies
