Position Overview

Ref: 212803 General Medicine Physician and/or Geriatrician Eastern QLD
High patient turnover: ward rounds, ED admissions guidance, MDT meetings, supervising trainees and education, clinics. Support provided by resident medical officers; registrars in ED also.
0730 - 1600 shifts. On call arranged to be discussed with department. Weekends potentially available. 
Accommodation and travel provided.

 An Eastern QLD hospital requires a Specialist in Internal Medicine

· START: Monday 22 June 2026, 0800
· FINISH: Friday 26 June 2026, 1630

If a physician with Stroke/Neurology specialty is not available for the above dates, we would also consider a geriatrician or general physician with perioperative interest to cover orthogeriatric ward
