Job Description


The General Laborer will perform general maintenance duties at NCED.Duties and Responsibilities* Loads and unloads furniture and related materials onto and off trucks, ensuring the appropriate padding and ropes are used to prevent damage.* Moves supplies and material to proper location using the appropriate equipment.* Moves and arranges heavy pieces of office furniture, equipment, and machinery.* Operates forklifts, mechanical lift gates, and mechanical platforms to facilitate loading and loading materials.* Arranges and sets up furniture, cubicles, partitions, assemble misc. office and classroom furniture including chairs.* Performs snow removal.* Performs general maintenance duties.* Performs other duties as assigned.
