**Job Title: General Laborer – Concrete Finisher (Heavy Highway / Roadway)**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on smoothing and finishing poured concrete surfaces for heavy highway and roadway projects in the Tidewater region of Virginia, including bridge decks, parapets, sidewalks, curbs, and gutters. You will work on commercial roadway and pavement projects, delivering high-quality concrete finishes to specified textures and standards while contributing to safe and efficient jobsite operations.

**Responsibilities**

+ Signal concrete delivery trucks to position properly for efficient and safe concrete pouring.
+ Move and adjust discharge chutes to direct concrete into forms accurately and safely.
+ Spread concrete into hard-to-reach sections of forms using rakes or shovels.
