POSITION SUMMARY
This role supports The Department in providing comprehensive gastroenterology care across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings. Responsibilities include evaluation and management of gastrointestinal conditions, performance of advanced endoscopic procedures, and participation in a structured call schedule. The position offers access to specialized endoscopy equipment, an ambulatory surgery center, and a high demand patient population with extended wait times for new appointments.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine Gastroenterology
• Completion of residency training in internal medicine
• Fellowship training in gastroenterology
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Tennessee
• Ability to perform advanced endoscopic procedures within credentialed scope
