Required to perform ERCP, 7 to 10 procedures per week
Daily patient volume: 27
Call: 12-hour in-house GI hospitalist support with 12 hours of night off-site call
EMR: Meditech, PK, Provation, eCW, Patient Keeper
Support Staff: Mid-level support Monday to Friday, hospital support includes PAs, RNs, practice support includes CMAs and PA
Typical Day:
1st Location: Scopes in the morning then rounding (patient care) and see any consults that are called in
2nd Location: Scopes in the morning then rounding (patient care) and see any consults that are called in (generally not as many scopes and patients to round on)
