The Garden Technician is responsible for creating a weed free, neat, tidy garden and site clean up. 1) Chemical free hand weeding with focus on removal of roots with attached weeds. 2) Deadheading spent blooms. 3) Pruning lower level dead branches on shrubs and bushes as well as removing cross branches. 4) Showcasing gardens. 5) Hedge trimming. 6) Unloading topsoil. 7) Applying pre-emergent weed deterrents. 8) Removing existing gardens and individual plants and bushes. 9) Planting new gardens. 10) Using spades, hand pruners, flower snippers, shears, loppers, shovels, rakes, hedge trimmers, blowers and other garden related tools. 11) Installing soaker/drip hose systems. 12) General seasonal yard clean up of leaves, branches and debris. 13) Loading garden debris into contractor bags or trailer. 14) Assisting with offload of debris at dump sites. 15) Watering. 16) Use blower for driveway and sidewalk clean up. 17) Tracking and reporting arrival and departure times. 18) Submitting time...
