Job Title: Furnace Operator

Responsibilities


+ Operate and monitor furnaces to maintain safe and efficient production processes

+ Charge and clean furnaces using various tools and equipment

+ Drain, transfer, or remove molten metal and pour it into molds

+ Collect metal samples for analysis and perform quality inspections

+ Regulate furnace temperature and adjust fuel and air supplies

+ Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and bobcats

+ Inspect equipment and work area, perform maintenance and safety checks

+ Record production data and maintain logs accurately

+ Perform manual lifting, packaging, labeling, and sorting as needed

+ Report any defective materials or unsafe conditions to supervision

+ Execute procedures and maintain a clean work environment
