Meet Team

As a Frontend Engineer in the Meet team, you will play a key role in building intuitive, performant, and secure user experiences for our communication platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user‑facing features, ensuring seamless interactions, responsiveness, and high‑quality UI across devices.
• Collaborate closely with backend, design, and other teams to deliver reliable and user‑centric features.
• Advocate for clean, maintainable code and strong frontend architecture, balancing performance, accessibility, and rapid feature delivery.

Tech Stack and Tools

• Frontend built with React and Rust.
• Backend API based on PHP/Symfony.
• All client code is open‑source and GPL 3.
• Infrastructure migrating to Kubernetes; runs on premise in Proton's data‑centers.
• Project management uses Jira and Confluence.
