Freelance Conference Interpreting Technician – a freelance collaboration opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Event Coordination

• Support event organizers with platform rental arrangements as needed.
• Create event links for interpreters and participants, or assist organizers with link creation as required.
• Obtain presentations, event materials, and coordination instructions from organizers in advance.
• Verify that all necessary equipment is operational and meets event requirements (e.g., platform type, additional devices).

Event Technical Support and Coordination

• Coordinate and facilitate an early log‑in session for each event, ensuring a minimum duration of 30 minutes prior to start time.
• Conduct comprehensive sound checks with speakers to eliminate echoes, background noise, and audio distortions before the event commences.
