Position Summary
The Foundation Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing foundations that support utility power infrastructure, including transmission towers, poles, and substations. This role ensures existing foundation systems remain structurally sound and compliant with engineering specifications, safety standards, and company quality requirements. The technician works to identify defects, perform corrective actions, and support long-term asset reliability. You will report to the Foreman.
Essential Functions
+ Inspect foundations for transmission towers, poles, and substations for signs of wear, cracking, settlement, erosion, or structural degradation
+ Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on concrete, drilled pier, and anchor-based foundations
+ Execute repairs such as patching, grouting, sealing, underpinning, or reinforcement installation
