Forklift Operator

Role Summary
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the accurate moving, locating, and storing of materials, utilizing a forklift or other power-operated equipment.

Key Results Area

+ Safe and efficient operation of all power-operated equipment that requires certification

+ Safe and efficient movement of the product, including loading and unloading of trucks

+ Accurately pick and pack items for shipment, potentially with a forklift

+ Label and prepare items for shipment

+ Work with inventory control on correct product placement

+ Complete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentation

+ Maintain warehouse order to ensure pallet locations are kept available for incoming items

+ Ensure all items not required in the short term are restocked according to established procedures

+ Update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with the transactions completed
