Position Overview
Job Summary
Preparation of all cold and limited hot food in production areas plus service to tray and cafeteria areas. Work in dish room area and receive all product items delivered to the department. Work in all areas of catering as needed. Passes trays to patients and helps set up food trays for them.
Job Duties
+ Prepares all salads and desserts according to recipes indicated or convenience directions on the package label and produces quantities indicated on production sheets.
+ Follows department guidelines for portioning all food items and merchandising all food served on patient tray line, cafeteria, and catering area.
+ Follow department guidelines for a neat and orderly tray line and cafeteria area.
+ Records temperatures required by each job being performed.
+ Replenishes nourishment stations- records all items properly.
