Position Overview
10-Month Position
Commences September 2026 MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach and supervise high school students at varying academic levels, both in academic and performance skills to prepare them for either college or entry-level work in the food service industry. Key responsibilities include:
+ Instruct students on the fundamentals of food service careers including both front and back of house positions.
+ Work with Integrated Instructors to implement lessons in English, Math and Science.
+ Implement inquiry-based learning projects
+ Work with local businesses to prepare students for co-ops and job shadows
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ NYS Certification in Culinary Arts 7-12; OR
