Description
SUMMARY
This position helps assist in the preparation, and portioning of meals for hospital patients, Meals on Wheels, caterings and staff in a timely manner.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability to be successful.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)
+ Follow daily production records for quantities needed.
+ Utilize batch cooking procedures to insure a quality product.
+ Assembling cold plates, prepping salads, vegetables, cutting fruits and vegetables, and making desserts.
+ Follow daily prep and pull schedules as indicated on production records.
+ Document and record temperatures as required.
