Supervises and directs work involving direction of employees involved in the preparation and replenishment of food and/or custodial duties of the food service areas.

+ Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service, and complete disciplinary write-ups.
+ Perform routine tasks consistently.
+ Knows and applies food safety policies and procedures for the department.
+ Take and record the temperature of food and food storage areas, such as refrigerators and freezers.
+ Schedule staff hours and assign duties.
