We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals with great customer service skills to join our catering team preparing and serving tasty and nutritious meals for tenants in Codi Extra Care Service, Maesteg, Bridgend. As a Food Service Assistant you will play a key role in making mealtimes something residents look forward to. This is an 18‑hour permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare and serve food, lay and clear tables, and keep kitchen clean, tidy and safe.
• Assist with setting up and clearing dining areas and washing dishes.
• Support the catering team during busy periods, including plating and tidying.

Qualifications / Attributes

• Strong communication skills – greet tenants warmly and explain menu options clearly.
