Job Description: Flight Test Instrumentation Laboratory Engineer for Airbus Defence & Space in Spain (Sevilla or Getafe site). The successful applicant will join the Engineering Area.

Responsibilities

• Part of a team responsible for the full life cycle of a Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI): from conception to deployment, including equipment and system integration.
• Definition and design of FTI installations onboard Flight Test Aircraft.
• Preparation of FTI documentation to be provided to aircraft installation design offices.
• Definition, performance, and documentation of FTI equipment and system integration tests on FTI laboratory facilities.
• Investigation and resolution of anomalies in service.
• Make or Buy process evaluation.
• Consideration of new instrumentation technologies where applicable.
