**Flagger**

A flaggers main responsibility will be the control andflow of traffic around road worksites using warning and detour signs, position traffic cones and barricades, and informing the site crew of any safety hazards.

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities:**

+ Controls movement of vehicular traffic through sites in which utility work is performed.
+ Directs movement of traffic through the site using approved traffic signals.
+ Moves from job site to job site as necessary.
+ Uses a stop and slow paddle and flag, each of which weighs approximately less than 1pound.
