Job Description

The Flagger plays a critical role in maintaining safety around active construction and paving sites by directing the flow of vehicles and pedestrians. This position helps construction crews and motorists avoid hazards associated with roadwork while supporting the setup and maintenance of safe, compliant traffic control zones.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary work zones, including placing warning signs, traffic cones, stop/slow paddles, and rumble strips according to safety and traffic control standards.
• Maintain traffic control setups throughout the workday, adjusting signs and devices as needed to respond to changing site conditions.
• Remove all temporary work zone equipment at the end of each project or shift, ensuring the roadway returns to normal operation safely.
