Lead and manage the two teams for the month‑end close to ensure deadlines and deliverables are completed accurately and on time, advising the team on journal validation/substantiation and supporting proper audit trails.
liaise with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and driving continuous improvement within the team to ensure quality delivery and output.
Provide overall leadership to the team as well as coaching and mentoring to team members.
Manage team performance, KPI on a daily basis with a solid back‑up plan.
Monitor and review to ensure all regional key risks are identified and action plans are taken in a timely manner, with issues escalated appropriately.
Establish metrics on key risk areas and review them monthly to ensure entity results are fully compliant with all relevant accounting standards, current best practice and other regulations.
