Overview

A truck body building manufacturer based in Witham is looking to hire a Fitter who is proficient with hand and power tools and holds a counterbalance forklift certificate to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to fit metalwork together
• Operate a 2.5 tonne counterbalance forklift
• Use cutting machinery
• Carry out various odd jobs around the workshop and yard as required

Requirements

• Experience fitting metalwork using hand and power tools
• 2.5 tonne counterbalance forklift license
• Adaptable to business needs

Details

Salary: up to £14.50 per hour

Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Overtime: x1.33 on weekdays and x1.5 on Saturdays

Employment type: Temporary to permanent position
