Ace Iron & Steel Corp. is seeking an experienced Fitter/ Welder to join our team in Milwaukee, WI.

Responsibilities:

• Follow drawings to fit various structural members (beams, columns, girts, etc.)
• Utilize company provided equipment, tools, and machines to assemble steel members.
• Weld steel assemblies.
• Operate plasma table, overhead cranes, and beam processing line.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with company safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in steel fabrication is desired.
• High School Diploma.
• State Certified Welder is desired. Testing may be required, and will be provided by the company upon hire.
• Proficiency in MIG welding.
• Ability to use welding equipment and related tools safely and effectively.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
